Three Bean, Sausage, and Root Vegetable Stew

I spent my Thanksgiving holiday in Rolfe, Iowa where the temperature dropped to 23 degrees. After living in Missouri for the past 8 years I’ve definitely noticed the cold a lot more than when I was growing up. One of the best ways to warm your self up with in these circumstances is a warm hot chocolate or a hearty stew. I’m guessing you didn’t come to this site to find hot chocolate recipes so instead I offer a three bean stew that was one of my favorites through the cold months of last winter and will likely be a staple through the current one. If you want to heat things up even more I recommend adding some Frank’s Red Hot or Crystal Louisiana’s Pure Hot Sauce.
